Every input is fully utilized. Nothing is discarded. Our six-stage process ensures complete resource recovery from organic waste.
Unlike single-technology systems, Haritaya's platform combines anaerobic digestion with thermal conversion — enabling complete processing of all organic waste fractions.
The result is a closed-loop system where every input generates a valuable output, and nothing is sent to landfill or discharged as effluent.
Each stage is engineered to maximize resource extraction and minimize environmental impact.
Incoming organic waste is received, weighed, and segregated by type and composition. Pre-treatment processes including shredding, screening, and homogenization prepare the feedstock for optimal digestion efficiency.
Input: Raw Organic WasteIn sealed, oxygen-free digesters, microorganisms break down organic matter over a controlled retention period. This biological process produces raw biogas (60–70% methane) and digestate — a nutrient-rich slurry.
Output: Raw Biogas + DigestateRaw biogas undergoes multi-stage purification — removing CO₂, H₂S, moisture, and trace contaminants — to produce high-purity biomethane (≥97% CH₄). The upgraded gas meets vehicle fuel and grid injection standards.
Output: Biomethane (CBG / Grid Gas)Solid fractions from the digestate undergo controlled thermal processing (torrefaction / hydrothermal carbonization). This converts biomass into dense, energy-rich bio-coal with calorific values comparable to conventional coal.
Output: Eco Coal (Bio-Coal)The liquid fraction of digestate is processed through separation and concentration to recover nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. The result is a certified organic fertilizer suitable for direct agricultural application.
Output: Organic FertilizerResidual liquid effluents pass through advanced treatment stages — biological treatment, filtration, and polishing — to meet Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) standards. Treated water is reused within the plant or supplied for industrial use.
